Chris Parsons is currently 21, and is finishing his BA in Economics at the University of California at San Diego, and will be pursuing the CFA certification. His background in gaming includes tournament cribbage and competitive trivia, with the highlight of his trivia career being a former champion on the game show, "Jeopardy!". In addition to competition, he also has experience in tournament management, being a tournament director for a variety of games for the past five years.

He started playing poker in early 2003, and is currently playing a variety of games, including Limit Omaha Eight or Better and Texas Hold'em Ring, but considers his best game No Limit Hold'em Single Table Tournaments (known informally as Sit-n-Go tournaments). In the near future, he plans on exploring Triple Draw and Seven Card Stud to further expand his poker horizons.
